Epiphany Ministry, Inc. is an ecumenical ministry for young men and women who are in the custody of Juvenile Justice Facilities.  The weekend models on which it is based are: Chrysalis, Cross, Cursillo, Happening, Kairos Prison Ministry, Tres Dias, Vida Nueva and Walk to Emmaus.  Our purpose is to manifest God's Love to incarcerated youth, known as "Stars" through a three day short course in Christianity and an on-going follow-up program.

God's Love has been revealed throughout history, especially in the life and atoning sacrifice of Jesus Christ.  In church history, Epiphany is traditionally celebrated on January 6th marking the arrival of the Magi in search of the Christ child.  "Epiphany" is a Greek word that means "appearance".  The coming of the Magi marks the time when God is manifested on Earth to the entire world through Jesus Christ.

Epiphany Ministry, Inc. began in 1990 in Alabama with the belief that young people in trouble need to experience God and His Love. The ministry quickly spread and is now active in 14 states.  The most recent addition is Epiphany Ministry of Kansas, which started in 2014.

Since 1991, thousands of young men and women have been offered an opportunity to accept and experience truth, unconditional love, a sense of belonging, family, and friendships made possible through a relationship with a caring, loving, forgiving God.

About Epiphany

God takes something wretched and no good and makes it a treasure. I want to thank God for filling up this empty space in me with love.

I had no idea what to expect. This has been the greatest experience of my life. I have struggled with two things:

forgiveness, and unconditional love. This weekend was full of both of them.

This is the first time I’ve felt peace since I’ve been here. It’s the first time I’ve had peace and love in my life.
